Over 5 Monday evenings beginning May 22nd, we are going to spend time enjoying food and discussing the life and teachings of Jesus. If you’re looking for a space to join some other people who are looking for deep answers for big questions you’re going love coming to Alpha. No question is off the table and if you just want to sit and listen, feel free!
Who we are.
City Light Church is a community of people who are on about making more and stronger disciples of Jesus. We seek to know Jesus more deeply every week and to have every part of our lives shaped by who he is and what he has done for us. Nothing makes us happier than being able to see others share in the joy that comes with following Jesus. So regardless of your background or beliefs, whether you are skeptical or investigating, we would love to make you feel welcome at any of our Sunday gatherings.
Moving to the High School
In 2022 we relocated our Sunday gatherings from Darling Street to Balmain High School, a decision rooted in our commitment to Jesus' mission of making disciples. This move to one gathering at Balmain High School has strengthened our church, offering improved discipleship opportunities for City Kids and community groups, and creating space for impactful outreach and mission activities—a biblical step forward and a significant shift in our journey.
